Lucknow. Samata Samajwadi Congress Party (Congress-S) has started the process of selecting its candidates for the upcoming assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh.


Party President Dr. Arvind Gandhi has directed all the central and state committee officials and senior leaders of the party to go among the people and face the regional public problems and start preparing for the elections at the assembly level.


Party President Dr. Gandhi said that the party will field candidates on more than two hundred seats in the state.


 He said here that for this, separate meetings of the party's Central Election Committee (CEC), Political Affairs Committee (PAC) and Central Parliamentary Committee (CPC) will be held to brainstorm and take decisions regarding the preparation of the selection process and rules for the candidates. Also, the candidates will be directed to follow the guidelines of the Election Commission.
