Thakur, in a press conference held at a restaurant in Sigra today, handed over a memorandum to Media Incharge and Spokesperson of Rashtriya Samajwadi Jankranti Party Navneet Singh and National President and Advocate High Court Allahabad Dr. Arvind Gandhi, appealing for a struggle for the protection of the interests of 28 crore policy holders and about 14 lakh agents in Life Insurance Corporation of India.
He said that he requested Rashtriya Samajwadi Jankranti Party and Samata Samajwadi Congress Party to join the struggle against this financial irregularity, which was accepted by the leaders of Samata Samajwadi Congress Party and Rashtriya Samajwadi Jankranti Party, expressing concern over this grave irregularity and drawing the attention of the Central Government to this grave financial irregularity.
He said that the association will soon submit its demand letter to the central government and 30 days will be given to remove this serious irregularity, after which the outline of the movement will be prepared.
