Removal from the list of political parties by Election Commission of India is against the democratic process and the Constitution: Dr. Arvind Gandhi

New Delhi (VNFA/BBC-India/Vishwavani News). The country's renowned socialist leader and National President of Samata Samajwadi Congress Party, Dr. Arvind Gandhi, termed the order/action of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, of removing Samata Samajwadi Congress Party along with various other political parties from the list of political parties as against the Constitution and an act of killing democratic methods.


The National President of the party, Dr. Arvind Gandhi, today appeared in the Election Commission of India in New Delhi and presented his appeal application with evidence affidavit before the Secretary, Election Commission of India, New Delhi.

 It is noteworthy that on 9th August 2025, the Commission removed 334 registered political parties from the list of registered political parties, in which the Commission had directed to file their appeal application/objection within 30 days for hearing in the Commission, in which sequence today on behalf of Samta Samajwadi Congress Party, the National President of the party Dr. Arvind Gandhi filed the said appeal. On this occasion, the member of the National Working Committee of the party, Shri Yugul Kishore Vishwakarma was also present with him.
