Varanasi: Expressing concern over the increasing incidents of violence and sexual harassment against women in the country, the bharat suraksha parishad has agreed to exchange cooperation with the National Commission for Women - India to take strict action against it and to prevent such incidents. Dr. Savita Poonam, Director of *Crime Prevention Investigation Bureau - CPIB* and Mrs. Soni Chakrawal, active member of the Parishad, have been nominated for this, these women officials nominated have been involved in the fight against violence and violent incidents against women. Showed readiness to work together with the National Commission for Women to exchange cooperation to prevent incidents of sexual harassment and pledged its commitment.
The Member Secretary of the National Commission for Women of India, New Delhi honored both these women officials by issuing them membership pledge certificates.
Bharat Suraksha Parishad handed over this pledge certificate to both the women officials in its annual function under the influence of the chief guest of the program, former Director General of Medical and Health, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Om Prakash Singh.
On this occasion, International President of Vishwa Hindu Personal Law Board, Member of Indian Human Rights Committee (IHRC) Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh (Managing Director, Singh Medical & Surgical Centre), CPIB Secretary Dr. S.S. Ganguly, former President of the Central Bar Association. President Dr. Ram Avtar Pandey and all the key officials and members were present.
